Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before booking with Travel Destinistas. By making a reservation, submitting payment, signing a booking form, or otherwise engaging our services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms.

Company Information:  Destins by Dorsey, LLC d/b/a Travel Destinistas, a Texas company, is referred to in these Terms as “Travel Destinistas,” “Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our.”

Reservations and Booking Acceptance:  Reservations may be made through our website, booking pages, invoices, proposals, or approved communication channels. A reservation request does not guarantee space or confirmation. A booking is not accepted and no contract for services exists until the required deposit or payment is received and written confirmation is issued by Travel Destinistas.

We reserve the right to refuse, decline, or cancel any reservation request prior to confirmation in our sole discretion.

Identification: Travelers must make reservations in the full legal name exactly as it appears on the government issued identification they will use for travel. Any name correction or name change requested after booking may result in supplier fees, airline penalties, administrative fees, or cancellation and rebooking requirements, all of which are the sole responsibility of the traveler.

Payments: We accept major credit and debit cards through authorized third party payment processors, including TravelJoy. By submitting payment, you represent that you are an authorized user of the payment method and that all information provided is accurate and complete.

All deposits are final, nonrefundable, and nontransferable. Payment plans, deadlines, and final payment dates are listed on the applicable booking page, invoice, or proposal.

Third Party Cardholder Payments: If the name on the credit or debit card does not match the name of at least one traveler on the reservation, Travel Destinistas may require additional documentation before processing payment.

Required documentation may include:

• A valid copy of the cardholder’s government issued photo identification
• A signed handwritten authorization letter permitting Destins by Dorsey, LLC d/b/a Travel 

Destinistas to charge the approved amount:

The authorization letter must include:

• Cardholder name
• Traveler name on the reservation
• Reservation number
• Destination
• Travel dates
• Authorized payment amount
• Last four digits of the card
• Billing address
• Cardholder phone number and email address
• A clear authorization statement
• Signature and date

If the cardholder is not traveling, the letter must also state the cardholder’s relationship to the traveler. Payment will not be applied until all required documentation has been received and approved.

Late Payments and Reinstatement: If you elect to pay in installments, you agree to remain current on the payment schedule shown on your invoice. A late fee may be assessed to overdue payments as stated on the booking page or invoice. Reservations not paid in full by the final payment deadline may be canceled.

If a canceled reservation is eligible for reinstatement, a reinstatement fee may apply. Reinstatement is not guaranteed and remains subject to availability, supplier approval, and updated pricing.

Refunds and Cancellations: 

Hosted Trips by Travel Destinistas:  All sales for trips hosted by Travel Destinistas are final. All payments, including deposits, installments, and final payments, are nonrefundable and nontransferable unless expressly stated otherwise in writing by Travel Destinistas.

Custom and Private Group Trips: For custom trips, private group trips, destination weddings, family groups, social groups, and similar bookings where Travel Destinistas is acting as travel advisor, refunds are governed by the applicable supplier cancellation policy and timeline.

Any available refund is limited to the amount, if any, actually recoverable from the supplier, less any nonrefundable deposits, service fees, planning fees, administrative charges, processing fees where legally permitted, and supplier imposed penalties.

Cancellation Requests: All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing to admin@traveldestinistas.com and must include the traveler’s full name, reservation or invoice number, destination, and travel dates. Cancellations are not effective until acknowledged in writing by Travel Destinistas.

Reservation Changes: Any requested change to an existing reservation must be made in writing and is subject to supplier approval, availability, and applicable fees. Change fees, fare differences, cancellation penalties, and rebooking costs are the traveler’s responsibility. Replacing one traveler with another is considered a cancellation and new booking, not a simple change.

Prices and Corrections: All prices are per person unless otherwise stated and are based on the occupancy and package terms shown on the booking page, invoice, or proposal. Prices are subject to correction for human or computer error.

If a correction results in a price increase of more than ten percent of the total trip cost, the traveler may cancel within five days of written notice and receive a refund of amounts paid to Travel Destinistas for the affected booking, less any nonrefundable supplier costs already incurred where permitted by law.

Passports, Visas, and Travel Documents: Travelers are solely responsible for obtaining and carrying valid passports, visas, entry permits, vaccination records, and any other documentation required by the destination, transit country, airline, cruise line, or supplier.

Travel Destinistas may provide general information as a courtesy, but travelers are responsible for confirming all requirements directly with the appropriate authorities and suppliers. We are not liable for denied boarding, denied entry, missed departures, delays, or losses resulting from incomplete, invalid, or inaccurate documentation.

Travel Insurance: Travel insurance is strongly recommended. Travelers are solely responsible for selecting, purchasing, and understanding their own travel protection policy. Travel Destinistas is not an insurer and makes no representation regarding coverage, exclusions, claims, or benefits.

If you decline travel insurance, you assume full financial responsibility for any losses, cancellations, delays, medical expenses, interruptions, or travel related issues that may occur.

Roommate Matching: Roommate matching may be offered on select hosted trips as a courtesy and is not guaranteed. If a suitable roommate is not secured by the applicable deadline, the traveler is responsible for any additional occupancy cost, including the single occupancy rate if applicable.

Travel Destinistas is not responsible for roommate incompatibility, cancellation by a matched roommate, or disputes between roommates.

Health and Fitness to Travel: Travelers are responsible for ensuring they are medically and physically fit for travel. Travel Destinistas and its suppliers reserve the right to refuse travel, remove a traveler from part or all of a trip, or require a traveler to isolate if the traveler appears ill, poses a health or safety risk, or fails to comply with health related rules or instructions.

No refunds or credits will be issued for unused trip components resulting from illness, quarantine, failure to meet health requirements, or removal for health or safety reasons.

Independent Suppliers: Travel Destinistas acts solely as an intermediary between the traveler and independent travel suppliers, including hotels, resorts, cruise lines, airlines, transfer companies, tour operators, and other service providers.

We do not own, control, manage, or operate these suppliers and are not responsible for their acts, omissions, negligence, insolvency, schedule changes, service failures, injuries, losses, or defaults.

Cancellations or Changes by Travel Destinistas: Travel Destinistas reserves the right to cancel, modify, postpone, substitute, or reschedule any aspect of a trip for reasons including safety, supplier changes, operational issues, minimum participation requirements, weather, government action, health concerns, or Force Majeure.

If changes are necessary, we will use reasonable efforts to notify affected travelers. Except as otherwise required by law, Travel Destinistas is not liable for refunds, compensation, incidental expenses, or consequential damages arising from such changes. At our sole discretion, we may attempt to recover and pass through any supplier refunds actually received, less nonrefundable costs and administrative charges.

Force Majeure: Travel Destinistas shall not be liable for delay, cancellation, modification, interruption, or nonperformance caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including acts of God, weather events, natural disasters, pandemics, border closures, government orders, war, terrorism, civil unrest, strikes, transportation interruptions, supplier insolvency, or other unforeseen events.

Refunds, if any, are limited to amounts actually recovered from suppliers, less nonrefundable costs and administrative fees.

Assumption of Risk and Limitation of Liability: Travel involves inherent risks, including illness, injury, death, delays, crime, accidents, weather events, foodborne illness, transportation incidents, and other hazards. By participating in any trip booked through Travel Destinistas, you voluntarily assume all such risks for yourself and all travelers included in your reservation.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, you release and hold harmless Destins by Dorsey, LLC d/b/a Travel Destinistas and its owners, officers, directors, employees, independent contractors, agents, and representatives from claims arising out of or relating to your trip, except to the extent caused by our willful misconduct or gross negligence where such limitation is prohibited by law.

If Travel Destinistas is found liable for any claim, the maximum recovery shall not exceed the amount actually paid to Travel Destinistas for the specific booking at issue.

Passenger Agreement: All travelers must complete any required booking forms, waivers, authorizations, and passenger agreements requested by Travel Destinistas. Failure to submit required documents by the stated deadline may result in withheld travel documents, booking suspension, cancellation, or denial of participation.

Photograph and Video Release: By participating in a trip booked through Travel Destinistas, you grant Destins by Dorsey, LLC d/b/a Travel Destinistas the right to photograph, record, and use your image, likeness, voice, and appearance for lawful business purposes, including marketing, social media, website content, media coverage, and future trip promotion, without compensation or further approval, unless prohibited by law.

Website Use: By using www.traveldestinistas.com, submitting an inquiry, requesting a quote, completing a form, or making a reservation through the site, you agree to be bound by these Terms and all applicable policies referenced on the website.

Travel Destinistas makes reasonable efforts to keep website content accurate and current but does not guarantee that descriptions, pricing, availability, dates, images, or supplier information will always be complete, current, or error free. Content may be updated, corrected, changed, or removed at any time without notice.

Governing Law: These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Texas.

Entire Agreement: These Terms, together with the applicable booking page, invoice, supplier terms, payment schedule, and written confirmation issued by Travel Destinistas, constitute the entire agreement between the parties.

Acknowledgment: By booking with Travel Destinistas, I acknowledge that I have read, understand, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions of Destins by Dorsey, LLC d/b/a Travel Destinistas.
